Thanks for the support. I was afraid I'd killed the thread but I guess I'm not alone.

I like RamairIV's rule, too. ME rarely accompanies me on car outings but it's a special treat when she does.

As far as I'm concerned - the following are grounds for man card removal:

- you don't know how to drive a manual transmission

- you don't try to fix it yourself first - no matter what "it" is - before calling the "experts"

No problem with the "if elected" thing.
1. I'm too lazy to go thru all the gyrations it takes to lie your way into office.
2. No one is going to elect a radical liberal like me to ANYTHING - dog catcher - ANYTHING.
3. I'm too smart to be a politician and I'm not much of an ideologue (the other kind of person who runs).
