Found a vid with a '67 Cougar with a cowled hood, but it doesn't look right. Maybe to far back? What do you think. Also I am looking at using a smooth top cowl.

IMO....a ford should have a ford style scoop, I don't like it when guys put a chevy style cowl on other makes. Seems to me that a T-bolt style scoop would look a bunch better.

The Teardrop? I thought about that, just not sure it would look right with the body lines of the Cougar.

Yea that one, but I don't know how effective it would be as a true cowl style scoop.

Boss 429 scoop would work, and I think they're tall enough to be effective.

Never liked stock style scoops on the Cougar. That includes the GTE and Eliminator. I need the clearance.
Hopefully soon, I can post up a pic of my car.

old 80's style pro snorkel, ya Ill shut up now! :P

I have bad taste, but one of the older rounded scoops(like they used on pro stocks
a few years ago) might be ok
