A week or so ago, I mentioned in a thread that I broke my '99 Camaro and wasn't sure if it was going to be the trany or the rear end. Well after initial inspection of the rear end, and everything looking ok, I figured it was in the trany. So last Friday I shipped it off to my trany guy and told him what it was doing. Anyway after checking it out he found that one of the teeth on the pinion gear was broken, but it hadn't broken off all the way, which was why I didn't notice it when I check it out. Anyway the good news is it wasn't the trany, but the bad news is, I have to buy new gears and have the rear end gone through again. But this time I'm going with Factory GM gears, according to a few guys I've talked with, they are the only way to go.
Yap those poor Moser gears didn't even make it a year. ;)
