That is beautiful Pee Wee, have you got anymore of the car?
Here's the only other shot I have. It was a very distracting situation because when this car was in the pit getting oogled over, the dude went by at 272 on the bike. Keith was right beside the car with the radio, and "WHAT?????" What was that speed on the bike? Say again?"

Eric, the driver, and the car were on Drag Week as well. The Chadster should have more info on what he was running then, which i believe is the same as what he was running at maxton.

Here's the 454 that moves my Paperweight down the track. Best time of 11.42 and that wasn't a full 1/4 pass. Of course the reason it wouldn't rev over 3000 in 3rd would soon reveal itself and make me rebuild the motor twice.

496" engine in the '71 Challenger: MP siamese-bore block, 440 crank turned to 3.9" stroke, Cunningham Chevy rods, J-E 11.5:1 pistons, Stage V heads (one of two sets cast in the eighties w/ shuttle pushrod system), titanium and stainless valves, Crower roller cam, Indy intake, 1050 Dominator carb. Certain machining, headers and fab work, custom external oiling system and all assembly and scut work by yours truly. Occasional damage by yours truly. Headers are tiny (2") 'cause it never runs uncorked.
The engine in the newest old motorhome project. 440 built for torque.
Weird-ass Jeep motor by Continental. Overhead cam, hemi valve layout, lots of stroke but little bore, and gutless. I own three of these, but don't know why...
CA smoggable 305 TPI motor in an El Camino. Backed by 5-speed. Dead project for now.
'59 348 4bbl in Impala. Rebuilt to original. Smoothest motor I've ever built/owned, from the moment it was first fired.
Flathead in Plymouth. Probably not monstrous power, haven't tried it yet.
