I suppose in a drunken stupor that sounded like a really good idea to somebody, but now that gas is $3+ a gallon, I just don't see anything with big tires and a big engine as a good idea.....
but, I'm building a 428 so, what the heck do I know!
I suppose if you had a rotten truck with good drivetrain, and a nice camaro with a blown engine.....There's always something new to learn.

wow, yeah I've seen my share of Pony Car (or GM G-bodies) converted to 4x4s. It was cool when I was a kid, now I realize that a lot of these cars that met this fate were really a result of too much rust, too many vehicles in the yard, and a fair share of trips to the local packy.
and I'm digging the ol' 8bit NES games...
