my pops and grandpa are gone now and it sucks I wish my kids could have meet them but I am glad for the time and memorys I have
I love to talk to all the old timers that come in to my work get to know them and here the storeys
sadly they are disappering
I have one guy who when he got home from the war went to work at kalspan and the storys he would tell me {must have liked me as he did not realy talk to the other guys}
and one guy Thomas who retired in the early '70's from a ambulance Co. in '62 he got a new Caddy rig to drive and when he retired bought it and still has it .He tells me storys all the time and stops at my house to see what I am working on {he lives around the corner from me}
He told me the other day he is haveing health issues and then laughs it off
your right they don't build them like that anymore
