  • Southwest desert pics (AZ & CA)

I'm helping my friend move back to Ca this week. I forgot how pretty the desert can be....and how cold too. we had 40 mph winds with 50+ gusts in OK. that really killed our progress. My buddy's f-150 was begging for mercy that day pulling a 16' enclosed trailer.

Any way I know that is just bla bla bla........here are some pics that I took from the drivers seat of the 26' u-haul with a car in tow :o We didn't have time to sight see. I'm hoping to have a day to make it to the Goodguys show this weekend

You're right; it is really gorgeous out there. And so peaceful.

      hmm...looks familiar.

As long as you're nowhere near Phoenix, it's nice out here!

When I see images like that, I think about how long it took people to travel on Horseback in the 1800's, that can now be traveled in an hour

I think about that sometimes when I'm driving thru it...those guys back then had some balls just to try it
