  • Cool Old Parts in Cool Old Boxes -- The Goliath Repair Kit

You'll hear lots more about this stuff in the next Goliath project installment, but I had to share some photos of the awesome stuff I scored at Then and Now Automotive in Weymouth, Ma. Mike Casella (a BS member extrodinare) was the point man on this thing and he came through big! Then and Now is a neat place and will be featured here soon.

    Here's the parts!

That is greatness. Like breaking into a museum to play with the artifacts.

      Neat parts...

Brian, I have some bad news for you...There is a truck in my parking lot that is going to bring tear to your eye and make Goliath tuck his giant tail between his giant legs and pee on himself....It was there this morning but gone by lunch...If he is there tomorrow I will unload a few pics for you...I cant decribe its awesomeness...and it is driven 3 times a week or more....

I hope they were covered in sneeze inducing layers of dust too.

Have fun with your new toys. Does the wife understand why you think really old boxes of parts are so cool?

I don't remember "Ramco" but I see it's a part of TRW, which stands for "Thompson, Ramo, Woodridge (if I got the spelling right). So I'm guessing Ramco was from the Ramo part of the group.

Great old bits, for sure. Does Mike have any +0.030 flat top forged 250 pistons lying around? I'll trade a set of cast units......

DO NOT throw those boxes away!

They would be perfect placed under a pic of Goliath, framed on the wall, like a collage of sorts.

You should just drive out here to Indiana and buy my dads 292 that he built in 65? for his aborted Thames gasser. Its been in heated storage all these years.Has like 2hours run time.Displaces 312c.i. with all the good stuff for circa 1965.

Seth - Tell me about your Dad's 312. Ever go Land Speed Racing? How about joining the Music With ME racing team - your motor, my Camaro?

Goliath should run like a Singer sewing machine when all is said and done. ;D
