these are in providence canyon in georgia. depending on which way you start hiking, it takes about an hour to get to these and there arnt any old roads near them. wonder how they got here.

When they were put there, there was probably a road. More than likely, the trail you walked in on. From the looks of the trees, not many are more than about 30 years old.

yea i could see where the trail could have been a small dirt road. really neat, your just walkin the trail and turn a corner and come up a hill and there they are. 8)

Isn't it funny the things you can find while hiking in the middle of nowhere?

              Identify The Cars!

The first one *appears* to possibly be a '56 Chevy ... not saying for sure ...

looking at the "V" shaped grille... but then, what's the seeming "medallion"...

(Ford also had a somewhat similar nose those years)... the blue & white pieces in a

separate pic look like "Rusty"... yep... the square parking lights nailed it as a '56 Chevy.

              The pic 3rd from bottom...54-ish Olds...best I can do w/this low-res laptop.

              Work on it, guys! --

Meanwhile, we'll get the VIN#s & run 'em,
& the correct responses will win a cup o' rust! ;)

Probably an old 'shiner's still sight and he just left his old cars there when he moved the still.

I've been looking for a old pickemup. You wouldn't mind dragging out that one you're leaning on, would you?
                    I think it's resorable!
