  • He might drive an import, but he still needs our help...

I got an email from a friend yesterday about a picture of his car-namely, a picture that I took. His car is a 1987 Porsche 928 "Polizei" edition, one of the only Porsche 928's equipped with the actual Porsche police interceptor packages. He's taken it the distance with a (removeable) lightbar, gold plated interior stuff, fresh carpet, big-ass stereo, and more stuff than I can remember. He's restored it to the point that the big dog collectors in Europe would be interested in it, if he ever decides to sell. Considering that it's an import, it's a pretty serious car.

Anyways, his email was to tell me that the car was in the running to get his car/my picture into the 2011 Napa Auto Parts calendar. It would mean the world to him (and me) to have his car featured in it. Granted, it's an imported car, but it's a front-engine, RWD, V8 2-door import car. It's damn near a German pony car. More importantly, it's not a ricer.

If you've got two minutes to spare, check out the link, click on the "vote" button, and be happy knowing that you've supported an awesome car. Thanks in advance!

        GORGEOUS!
928 has always been my favorite road going Porsche.

        Where is da link
Rumors of my demise by rollover have been greatly exaggerated.

thier 8 sucks, but at least they tried. :

now this one, it seems to stick out from the others. I suppose confidence goes along with this too..

You just don't see 'nice' 928's though, around here or 'anywhere' around here. On the way to get the Nova,I saw several of those smaller 944's on some of those small corner Lots, and they looked beat, just like the rest of their inventory(s) :P. ~J/W.
