I found it odd that of the Big Three (and AMC) there was a startling omission in the test footage. Where were the Mopars? How would a 1971 Dodge Colt fare against a 1971 Dodge Polara? Or how about a 1971 Plymouth Cricket versus a 1971 Plymouth Gran Fury?

Buick Park Ave did very well.
I guess for the small car the Gremlin takes it .

    I noticed that right away...

that back sheet metal carried all the way up to front. Interesting...

that is a car not to call a typical hatchback. I bet they got some monster engines in those in the aftermarkets (never saw one)

EDIT: ok, this sounds like a big one. :
A guy I worked with in the late 70's/early 80's put an engine that sounded like that in a Chevy Vega. He couldn't do anything in it - When he got into it, it would break the windshield from the body torque.

I love how the small cars all got batted out of the park.... bigger is better in a collision, no matter how much it collapses.... however, the small cars looked like Geely and Chery crash test cars.

I have a problem with the last crash.... the first crashes were all head on, the last was an offset crash - which while it is more realistic of real life crashes - it is not comparable to the other crashes.
