1993 LX - first new mustang- bone stock - stolen.
1993 GT- second new mustang- minor mod's- traded in on family ride.
1965 GT350 clone- heavily modified- Owned for 22 years recently traded for 1967 Fairlane.

The first one-1985 GT , 5 spd , Holley 600, 2.73 gears, charcoal paint w/10 holes

#2- 1998 GT, 4.6 2cam,5 spd 3.23 gears ,17'' wheels, silver paint,leather interior,loaded out ,Mach 460 sound

#3 - 1990 LX , 5.0, 5 spd, sunroof, 3.23 gears, 10 holes,charcoal paint,bought wrecked and rebuilt,a few mods.

#4 -2004 Mach 1 ,5 spd, white w/black stripes and spoilers, only mod was Flowmasters. Ran 8.80's 1/8

My first and current is my '88 LX, also have had a '91 4 cyl. (planned and failed v-8 swap), '01 LX(wifes), '91 LX waiting for attention in barn, '99 LX. Been planing to go look at a mustangII for a few weekends now.

If I had ever owned one I sure wouldn't admit it, sort of like don't ask, don't tell. OK, OK, I'm just teasin y'all. We have a guy here in town that bought a new 66 350 Shelby Stang and had the foresight (I guess) to hang on to it and it's now worth a whole bunch more then the Corvette I was driving in 66.

Owned a 85, 5.0 5 speed LX (not GT) hatchback. Man do I miss that car. Would get 25+ MPG doing 75 MPH. Beat a 454 ' 71 Monte Carlo at E town with it ;D

Currently own a 66 coupe that's getting a Toploader put in place of the C4.

I was 10 in 1983, my mom had a 69 mustang convertible. I helped clean it, got to see the inside of a 289, realized steel is horrible..car bent behind the doors.
I learned later that was going to be my first car.

my mom passed on , and so did the car.

I did get a 78 zephyr, squared up windows, four headlights and strange grill..it made it to rhode island from maine, I was 16. Big trip for me...
one of the last times I saw my mom, she went for a ride with me. Didn't have to agree out loud that it was better.
I still get the impression mustangs cheat something for an edge... I don't like that. I wonder if they ever made a fairmont convertible..

not to barge in on this thread with babble. I just assume claim the 69 as was my own...and never happened. Like alot of lawn ornaments.

81 Mustang cobra, put a later model roller motor with nitrous in it
then tried to do a 351w, I couldn't figure out all the different flexplate/converter/bellhousing combo's at 17
stupid.

later i had an 86 I put a 3.8 sc engine in
and an 86? I bought to resell, 6 cyl vert
an 89 5.0 5 speed I sold about 2 weeks after buying it
another 89 I put an aluminum head, roller cam 350 with nitrous in it, 17" cobra rims, liked that car a lot. I did a lot of work to make it light, and it was fast.
