Dio was arguably the greatest heavy metal vocalist of all time.

He also did some incredible work with a local guitarist here, named Kerry Livgren.

RJ Dio is/was less appreciated by the "mainstream" than he should have been. That guy influenced a LOT of great rock musicians over the past 30 years. I'm betting he'll receive a lot of posthumous accolades.

This just SUCKS.

No other way to put it that would convey my feelings......Ronnie James Dio was(and always will) one of my favorite rock/metal vocalists, be it with Black Sabbath/Heaven&Hell, Rainbow or his solo efforts in Dio.

The man wasn't large in physical stature, but in musical relevance, vocal/songwriting abilities and all-around contributions to rock/heavy music, the man was a f*****g GIANT.

I'd wager I'm not the only BangShifter that's blasted RJD's compositions from the speakers of my car stereo.

These "horns" are for YOU, Ronnie.....\M/
