Fudging the Numbers.

So I was over checking out how sad the HotRod forum is and noticed that when I first looked at the main page that it said their was 1944 guests online and 8 users, then I refreshed the page and the number jumped by 10 to 1954 guests, then I just started hitting refresh and wouldn't you know it with in 10 seconds the number of guest jumped to 2012 guests. So what's really going on here, are they messing with the guest numbers trying to make it look like a lot of people visit that site?

And now in the period it took me to write this post the new numbers are,

Forum Statistics

So in like 5 minutes almost 200 guests logged into their forums. This is got to be BS.

Ya maybe that's it, I just couldn't understand how there can be so little posting there, and have so many people as guests, if that's the case, dammit people sign the hell up. ;D

Yep. There were some "pesky" elements there...such as people I personally liked but couldn't take the endless politics/space-alien stuff from... ;)

...But Jeez, I lost 40% of my interest in Hot Rod when they came in and cleaned out that forum, fixing a few problems but insulting the intelligence of most of the people on it.
