OMG. That's ugly. It's hard to make an opinion on rescue response based just on the news report. They kept cutting back and forth to an interview. I know they don't go running out on the track if there is still cars whizzing by. What's scary is the fire extinguishers seemed to be ineffective. I did however like how they were spraying in the driver's location first. Also even more scary is how the driver is hanging out of the car as if he wasn't wearing his seat belts or they failed on impact.
Crash by Bartocci in car #22 in the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Cup. Luckily a member of the Aston Martin Racing team took matters into their own hand...
"Giorgio Bartocci has a broken leg, broken ribs and 2nd degree burns to 40% of his body but is now off a respirator." - Twitter stream MotosportPrint
Another view. The guys who pulled him out were his co-driver and guy from Lamborghini.

The seat looks like it is still pretty much in place ... what happened to the belts and window net? Nasty stuff when you see a driver dangling from the still-moving wreckage. Hopefully he has a full recovery.
