I thought all of the V8 Trailblazer platforms were aluminum block 5.3? Heck isn't everything of that archetecture aluminum now from Vette to Camaro to Truck?

I just looked up bore stroke.. damn. its as silly as a 305.

if one could shorten the stroke...mimick proprtions of a classic 302, but even smaller...all aluminum...

that would be a gm to remember. just a backyard guess.. :

4 to a 3 stroke would be this l33 a 3.75 to a 2.75...

a friend of mine bought a couple of complete aluminum block 5.3 engines. $750 a piece, complete with harness computer and all access. shipped.

Awesome score. They're worth more than an iron 5.3 but less then an LS1. I believe they can be re-sleeved to a larger bore but it's big money.
