I could not stop looking at steel and thinking rail psi, welds etc...
I wonder if a turbine with no internal combustion thumps is even easier to carry more power.
I spotted a porsche gt3 recently claiming use of "hybrid technology"... with a 40k rpm "flywheel generator" .. it would be useless on a heavy counterbalanced engine and chassis, the boxer allows it to function. Not much for gas savings I could guess.. but a trick to have alot more power coming out of turns, while playing with a gyro.
like some of the benefits of turbine meeting internal combustion. This concept goes back 110 years to ferdinand porsche himself.. wasn't exactly building a prius, if ya know what I mean. the 3 main boxer would only go einstein on the same concept and bankrupt japan. Therefore we will never see it. :
