I witnessed that 10.18 run by Dave. Simply amazing! The Mustang was real close to him though until late in the day it seemed to fall off a bit, and the Hemi just ran stronger. LVD was the site of the first 10 sec run by a F.A.S.T. car.
Steve Magnante was there with the Wilshire Shaker altered Nova. He had it almost on the back bumper a few times.
This boggles the mind, it is way beyond what I ever expected. Keep in mind that these F.A.S.T. cars have the correct original blocks, heads, intake and exhaust manifolds, carbs, 2.5" exhaust all the way to the bumper with mufflers, and the same G70-15 bias ply restoration tires that anyone can buy at Coker tire. No lightweight body panels, and an all stock appearance.
