Stuffed a 472 Caddy in a 2wd C30 w/400 Turbo once. C30 had a single axle but swapped over to a dually, truck was junk, basically had to rewire the front harness ,fab the engine mounts for the caddy, trans mount was stock, and spring perches was fabbed also. Total torque monster.

He did, once, an Olds 462. Once he grenaded it, a 500ci Caddy went in with a huge bottle backing it up.
      Editor-at-Large at...well, here, of course!

"Remy-Z, you've outdone yourself again, I thought a Mirada was the icing on the cake of rodding, but this Imperial is the spread of little 99-cent candy letters spelling out "EAT ME" on top of that cake."

Anybody remember the 1977 Panther 6 ?. It had a mid-mounted 500 cube twin turbo Caddy claiming 600 horsepower. Road & Track did an article on it in '77 or '78 and to a 13 year old sci-fi geek like myself I thought it was the coolest thing I'd ever seen.

Just groovin' to my own tune.

In the early days of GM diesel (olds junk) pickups I shoved a bunch of 472/500 Cads in their place. Made a really nice truck.
