I still only have one pair of shoes for work, so we're good.

PLEASE tell me that one pair of shoes for work is not made by birkenstock.

I wear Eccos. They're not cheap, but they last a half million miles, like 3-4 years per pair. I am not much into fashion, but uncomfortable/cheap shoes annoy me.

SO, back on topic, buying a used racecar is a great way to get speed parts for pennies on the dollar

I'm still astounded that I got $4200 for a stroked windsor that I built but never fired.... and that was just the shortblock!

Racerjunk can be a great place!

So - Shawn - many pages later - DID YOU BUY IT YET?

I really don't know how we got from used race cars to shoes - but I'm a big believer in steel toes when working on stuff.

I nearly took off a friends foot with a chainsaw - the steel toe saved him.

Having just been at the chassis shop today, it's 100% cheaper to buy used than have done fresh. :o
