      BAD ASS!!

couldn't find the owner of this car but I think it was a re-do of a magazine car from the mid '80's

not a real big fan of the real flame paint job, but this one was done right

well, at least one of them had the top down :D

this should get you to work on time ;)

lots of different things to see there :o

      HULKAMANIA!!!

wonder how much she would have sold that t-shirt for? ;)

think this will fit in the Vega? lol

        Re: Car shows

That guy with the Nova probably paid triple the original sticker price of the car just for those Hurst wheels.

        Great pics.

Thanks for posting - that brunette was loaded for bear. Oh yea and the cars we're nice too - where were the shows at?

I've never seen Hurst wheels before I guess...... I'm a slacker.

lots of pretty girls there for sure ;) the pics are from up here in B.C. Canada. the first batch were from an A&W in Surrey and the car with the Foose sig. is the one I alluded to another post about the FOOSE sticker I made up and the car that got trailered out. the 2nd one is from a show in New West and the 3rd is from a Casino in Coquitlam that the Hulkster and some of his friends were at

The Hurst wheels are rare as hens teeth for sure.....

Does A&W in Surrey have a weekly cruise night like the one in Maple Ridge?
I've been wanting to go to the KMS cruise on Friday nights in Langley, but haven't had a chance to make it out yet. (I did drag my little ones to the show in Agassi on the weekend (then they proceeded to ask me to take a picture of EVERY car... of course I obliged like any good dad would;)

                  Re: Car shows

the one in Surrey (Newton) is pretty small, I believe Wednesday nights, Maple Ridge is much better. KMS tools is fairly small too but Friday nights in Langley at the Tim Hortons on Logan Ave. is supposed to be like the old Java Hut, going to head there this Friday night ;)

Ah, the old Java Hut... I had heard that the owner had some sort of a hissy fit about the cars hanging out there on weekends & not spending enough $$$ (don't know if it was true or not). I do remember when they suddenly had security at the entrance one Friday night and signs that basically said "no classic cars" - I was just trying to go into Princess Auto to get something in my slammed S10 and a security guard started asking questions. Kind of bizarre, but they went out of business not too long after that.

The Java Hut out here in Chilliwack has a get together on thursday nights, but it's pretty small.

I think I'm going to check out the show at the Langley quarter Midget track on the weekend since I seem to have my 4 year old hooked on the idea of getting one of those little things to race next year.

yup, security, speed bumps, gates, lotsa bad feelings there, surprised KMS is getting away with it. it did tend to get a bit rowdy now and then though, Timmys is supposed to be more family oriented, we'll see

I consider car shows like a train wreck.... I go... hang out with my friends... but mostly I stick to Cruise nights... rather then car show's.... Something about competing with friends for popularity points among the crowd just rubs me wrong...

That and my Healey losing to a 56 Chevy wagon with a poorly installed 4 wheel drive kit.. ( true story... I quit ever entering a "car show" after that )
