Another one followed me home...couldn't resist the low price. I still don't know what I'll do with it, but I have lots of ideas, and it has a nice chrome grille (under the paint) that I need for my 57 Suburban.

I could see it fine from work and home. I won't believe it's a project for you until there is a BBC under the hood :D

Re: dang it, another one followed me home

The guy said it had an old Ford V8 emblem (I assume for a Y block)...he took it off to hang on his wall....weird!

But it is a V8 truck, has a slightly newer car 283 in it now. Supposed to run (yeah...right...) but smoke. No starter on it. Wonder why? Anyways, it is an original V8 truck, has the V in the vin, and the riveted mounts, and the V emblem on the hood, and the Vs on the doors. That stuff is kind of rare.

When I figure out what to do with the truck, I'll start a project thread.

You have a big heart Squirrel - adopting the needy like that. Certainly is in character for AZ., now you just need (see what I mean by needy?) an old Airstream to tow up to Bonneville with it.

Yeah, the camper/trailer thing is one of the plans.

The truck does have the typical Arizona rust, the cab corners and bottom of the front fenders have holes, but that's about it. Someone poked good size drain holes in the doors, they're solid (but dented)
