I dunno TC, I'd melt in the east humidity.... no need to shower out there as the showers just don't take - you shower, feel better, step out, need to repeat the shower.....
Seattle - 75 on the water, 80s just inland where I'm at... i love it you can keep the dry heat of the desert and the paint melting heat/humidity of the east and South.
I've been from east to west and everywhere in between...TC, again, doesn't know what he is talking about.
I've seen -60 below on the north slope (not counting wind chill) and 110 in Phoenix....95 degrees with a 115 heat index south of Orlando...Spent some time in the UP of Michigan where the ice breaking on the lakes sounds like thunder..
I also caught the good times of the season too in Noth America....
If anyone thinks the humidity compares to the dry heat they havent been around....
The hottest place on earth....Bowlingreen, Kentucky....the week before Indy, In the middle of August....Or....Cicel County....I've been to them both.
Now...I don't know about our poor soldiers over seas....and I think of them sometimes when I'm on my third shirt of the day....God Bless their soals....I'm just talking about the Good old USA!
Living just 60 miles south of Chicago...I'm sure I'll complain about the winter....a constant 30mph wind with temps in the zeros...
TC has a ride home from Mid-Way and a place to stay anytime he wants (except for April, and October) Those months are for Hoosiers only!
Yesterday, it was 96 with humidity in the 90% range. Pretty unpleasant.
What makes it worse is when there is no breeze AND laying on a roof painting... that's hot! It was like being in a sauna, after about fifteen minutes it was a little hard to breath.
Today’s and tonight’s Ely, NV weather forecast, weather conditions and Doppler radar from The Weather Channel and Weather.com
You guys remember this come winter time :P
same here, 87F.
it is a faker however. The real 87 is in july. It is off to the downward slope of well below zero.. until next july. :
in fact I just looked over some car structure. I do not like welding after mid august...crazy stuff happens.
the big heat on the asian continent higher than ever recorded... I can only guess what the northwest wind with no life in it does this year.

the death rate and fairy tales cannot kill the nature left behind.
It's been beautiful here for the last week, high in the 90's. It's our monsoon time of the year and just think last year at this time we went over 45 days of temps of 115+. Funny how the Summers here are so extreme from year to year. And I still remember working roofing when it was 122 out, all you snow bunnies would have been puking your guts out. ;) ;D
Newport Beach Ca. 72 degrees and breezy ;D
Ridgecrest Ca. 106 degrees and partly cloudy :P
And just think, in 6 hours I could be on the beach!!!!!!!!
I remember thinking the same thing when I lived in Phoenix for 9 months (15th ave & Camelback).
It's the only thing that kept me going while sitting in class at UTI in 1983.
