Using the MII doesn't hurt my feelings, but I think a Fox Body car is a better choice. And, you can buy the one that Freiburger has right now for cheap. It already has a rollbar, is stripped inside, has a built rear with spool, toploader 4 speed, scattershield and good stuff, fuel system, 302 with heads, etc, etc, etc.

He and I looked at the parts that car has and you can't get all of it for less than $12,000. It's for sale for a fraction of that. PM me if you are at all interested in talking about it. I have any and all info you could want on it and can have it ready for pickup by the end of the day tomorrow.

Chad, I'd have to sell ALL the other cars (yes, even the Monte) to pick up and pay for that! With the 302, 'cage and goodies...yeah, it'd be my DD in a matter of seconds.

He doesn't need a fairly decent driver, now, does he? :D
        Editor-at-Large at...well, here, of course!

I like the idea of a Rabbit/Golf or the Volvo. One car not mentioned is a '65 or earlier Falcon. Ford rallied them back in the day. A 5.0 would go in nicely.
