question for the membership- has anyone set a 472/500 caddy in a 57-59 ford passenger car chassis? just started preliminary cleaning and teardown of a 59 galaxie 'vert.... I'm favoring one of a few 500s i have in stock- the dimensions are close to the FE 352... little wider, little taller- i have put mopar b engines in this chassis already, and other ford drivelines... just want to hear any potential horror stories if anyone tried or did the retrofit already....

I had one in a 72 blazer it fit right in with the sevill/eldo oil pan. I used some cheap blackjack headers with cdm? flanges. the oil pump might screw with the steering/crossmember. The bopc 400 trans is fairly large by 50's standards I think that is were the issue's will show up.
