Video of thermal footage recorded from an AC-130 gunship from a mile or more away. No rounds were fired by the aircraft. The problem solved itself with no American intervention. Some jihadists were trying to bury an IED made from a 155 mm artillery shell. Evidently they lost the instruction manual... it could not have happened to a more deserving group of people! These guys failed bomb planting CLASS 101.

this june and july has the biggest loss in afghanistan since it began.

they must be blowing themselves up a bit less these days.
