  • Custom '59 Studebaker Lark VI, with Corvette power!

Saw this at a car lot near the house a couple days ago and finally found the camera last night. It's been a few years since I've seen one of these and it sure wasn't powered by anything like this one. This is for sale but I was too scared to ask how much. :D

I noticed the grille was swapped for one off a Champ truck.
I always thought a Champ grille would look good on a Lark, and it's true.

I agree about the grill, but it also needs the late Champ side grill as well. The match the grill.

What a nice looking wagon. I wouldn't kick it out of my drive way ;) ;D!

wow thats beautiful, not a fan of the wheels though, i hate it when people go and do a great job on the motor, paint, ect. and put cheap wheels on it

my uncle had a half dozen of those cars, and left them at the airports he flew to (in their parking lots). He flew to several places regularly, and didn't want/couldn't rent a car at the airports. He opined that by owning those cars that no one was desparate enough to steal any of them - so they'd be there if he didn't use them regularly. I agreed.... until this car, I'm going to have to modify my cars list as well :P

It's the offset, the design would be nice if they didn't look like wheelcovers with the spokes sticking out. Overall I'm not a big fan of the car but I can appreciate all but the wheels. Like the young man said, all that effort and crappy wheels....

Maybe he has more than one set. That's probably the easiest thing to chang on a car.
