magazines would be the last place I'd read about parts. Magazines are YEARS behind what's new in most or all of the venues they cover... for example, turbochargers have been around for a long time now but if you only read magazines, then you think they just got invented.

That's what I thought, when I was reading that 1952 Hot Rod magazine article about supercharging, that mentioned turbochargers.

When that 1952 article mentioned turbochargers, did it tell you how to install and use one?
