ahhh well here's the end of a wonderful asset... it's gone because of petty personality's... bummer it was a great place to share information... Here's what Jon Amo had to say about it...

Qoute from the Landracing.com Forum area

It's easy for most to complain on the sideline about a decision, since I can't keep everybody happy, and can't keep good members who actually help here, due to being harrassed Ive decided to just shut the board down instead of trying to moderate it and keep everybody happy. It just can't be done. It's also easy to say why, bring back whomever, why isn't he posting etc. There is history there already. This forum system was intended to be used for public consuption not personal agendas, constant bashings, harrassing of other members ideas and trials. Until I find a way to better manage it, the site will be offline. As they say, a few spoil it for everybody. This has been an ongoing problem which I don't forsee a resolution for everybody.

Was just on their this morrning giving helpful info to some maxton races then pooooooofffffff gone. Like he said though it just takes a couple a' holes to mess it up for everyone.

Its just like at my job. Some people couldnt stay off the porn sites at work so now all video/ game site are blocked.

Thats life, and sucks for the rest of us

Guess I missed what the actual problem was? I visit there almost every day just to read, almost never to post. Lots of great info on that site. What exactly was going on, did someone from NASCAR get all bent or ??

I really don't know what the problem was... but it's a perishable asset... and that was my original point... We here are the same... and it's important to do things exactly was we've done them so far... with each allowing the other to enjoy the forum for what it is...

Keith I don't know what the problem was / is but Jack is somehow involved I think.
That being said I think the only way to get the site back up is to have multiple moderators to keep an eye on things. The Shelby & Cobra web sites have issues all the time and the mods do a good job of getting things setteled down, if not they'll put you in time out, the ban you for a day, etc.
I think Jon needs a hand, you would be good at it.
There are very few people in this world who's opinion I value, you are not one of them.

and I'd like to help Jon... but this is the only place I've ever wanted to be a moderator at... Simply stated it's a No Win job...

I've actually only had to do a couple of things on here so far... easy stuff...

This really is too bad. I have not frequented this forum very often, but there are many folks who have gotten some very positive stuff from it. I think there must be a shelf life to almost any online forum or group. I have seen a couple go down the tubes because again a few use them for stuff they were not intended used for.

The beauty of this place is that David got to pick what we have here and I'm more then willing to follow his instruction as is Chad...

Everyone has been giving us a Honeymoon too... I'm sure the Yahoo's will come out ...

There are many ways to deal with them, most on here don't seem to be that way, though. Nice folks.

It sucks about the LSR forum. As for me causing trouble, I only post what I will say to your face. That said - a 78 Nova? LOL I need to come down to Lower Alabama and work on it, It needs a really big turbo!
