Subs, cage, seam welding, and mini-tubs.
    And a 9", likely a 4 link.

    Hell yes!!!

A mild 350 would be quite quick in this car.
A 6.0 LS with a cam, and heads would be quite wicked. 8)

we just bought a 76 vega wagon about a year ago and everything in the world for that car was inside hte vehicle such as fenders, motor mounts, radiator, 5 lug kit, new carpet, a/c vents and hoses and more for 1000 and it came with another front suspension for parts

          LOL thanks guys

All have good points. (except the pinto comment :D) I went to look at it thinking of dropping in a v6 and 5 speed to daily drive it. It was in worse shape than I was led to believe(imagine that).

If I buy it, it will be much more of a toy/project. I don't need a project, I just like the panel wagon style. If I don't save it, no one else around here will. I would love to romp this around on the street....yup mini tubs, 9", frame stiffeners/frame connectors, LS..............MORE POWER eeerrrrr errrRR EERRRR!

I will likely pass :'( I would like to find something a little more realistic for using as my daily driver in the short term.

If the guy can squeeze the title from his missing friend, I'll go for a closer look for sure.
