  • lost a great racer and friend

Well i just got back home from a wake that i still can't believe i had to attend.John Haas was a 4 time world champion Top Fuel Hydro boat driver that died last weekend on a qualifying pass. John was the pilot of the SpeedSports Top Fuel Hydro owned by Lou osman .He was a good friend that would drop anything to help someone out. He lived on a small lake in Michigan that everytime i would go up to visit his brother (my inlaw) we would stop by to see what he would be working on. Took many a ride in his flat bottom alky burning flame thrower across the lake and shared many a laugh . If you never have seen these boats race it takes alot of stones to get in one and race on the water at 250 + mph in the 4's. Lets all keep his family in our prayers

John was a hell of a racer and by your words a great man as well.

It is a significant loss to the racing community.

That which you manifest is before you.
