Bitchin Camaro + Vegas = road trip adventure?

My son and I are going to Vegas tomorrow to visit a friend, we're trying to decide what to drive. 55 is apart because I'm doing bodywork so it can get painted (hopefully next week), and the 99 truck is kind of in ABS hell, so it's either the Camaro or wife's 08 truck (which also has a Six in it, but does have air).

This would be the furthest the little car has ever gone since we've had it, it's 500 miles from here to there.

I'm always for an old car, miserable, road trip! ;D I'll be passing through Las Vegas tomorrow night on my way to CA, then back again on Sunday or Monday.

Definately take the Camaro! You can live your life in fear, or go out there and enjoy it! Your '55 doesn't have air so I know you're not used to it ;)

142,200 original miles. As far as I can tell, that is. Looks like the motor's never been apart, nor the trans. The alternator has the right date code to be original.

And it did have some rust in the fenders, where they trap dirt/moisture at the bottom rear. Other than that, it's pretty cherry.

Looks like we're taking the Camaro. Nine out of ten choosy consumers can't be wrong ;)

I gave it the once-over yesterday, and everything looks ok.
