      I was leaping out of childhood when he was on for the kids..
      I watched.
      the character is that of genius with the kids.. anyone could feel smarter.
      I liked the guy who played "hey vern it's earnest" around that same time in tv history. seemed more fatherly.

        Pee Wees play house originally was never a kids show, it was an adult stage comedy show that the networks made into a show for kids...if you watch reruns there is some pretty adult references that pop up from time to time...His regular show was funny as hell ...

            When he,ahhh,went to the movies by himself,the wife and I went out and bought one of every PeeWee Herman item on Targets shelf. He wasn't supposed to make a come back,damn him!


            BTW to our peewee,you don't have any big white shoes do you?

              Unless I see Lawerence Fishburne in a cowboy hat...I ain't sold.
