  • to the dyno session tomorrow or not?

so, the parts to sort out my rocker issue didn't arrive until today and the engine won't see fuel and ignition again until 13 hours from now (9 am tomorrow). Shop has graciously offered to hold off until I get there if I want to make the trip out (100 miles round trip). They are more than capable of finishing this thing without me looking over thier shoulders, and since I have heard and seen it run, it is sort of anti climatic. OTOH, I have no work scheduled for in the morning and my helper can steer the ship, so I can take the time away from the shop easily enough, just won't mention it to the wife (again). I am anxious to see the real power capabilities (or lack thereof). What would you do?

    GO!

If it were 100 miles each way I'd be on the fence, but 50? Pah, GO!
    Escaped on a technicality.
