  • car #11

just bought my 11th car on friday. Its a 1986 mustang GT converted to a carb and with a freshly rebuilt 302 with ported e7 heads, edelbrock performer rpm intake and a tfs1 cam. The car has no rust at all, its even in better shape than my white 87. The interior is in great shape, it has a brand new clutch, flywheel, bbk shorty headers, pypes x pipe and a bunch of other new misc. parts, including a summit ignition box. It has 3:27 gears in the 8.8" rearend and a 5spd trans. It has pony wheels with almost new tires and all it needs is a carb and for the rear brakes to be bled (theyre brand new) i got it for $800 ;D

here are some pictures i got from the previous owner

im supposed to be bringing it home sunday or monday

when the previous owner (a good friend of mine) first got it

before the haggard straightpipes were removed

after the haggard straightpipes were removed

I'll trade you a dead Crown Vic for it :P

What sweet deal. It has plenty of go-fast goodies already - should be blast once you get it running.

I have not been that lucky in forever...
doubt I will again at the rate I am going. :

for 800 I would get a broken tunneled, twisted, nuclear EGR hydro crabon chaning aurrora of not northern lights.. but its own mysterious doing.

i still havent got the car home yet. and its only 10-12 miles away :-X.

i need to find somebody with a trailer they'd let me use, because buying the car has drained all my funds and i cant rent a car dolley :D

              i need a job.

That carb looks like a great choice if you want to spend that much.

A good old 1850 holley 600 vac, or an edelbrock 600 vac would both work great for cheaper, but not as many goodies.

I'm not 100% familiar with the trickflow stage one cam - but isn't it similar the B303 Ford racing cam?

With ported E7s - this thing sounds very similar to the 302 we built for the ranger - but it's got the X303 cam.

There's always something new to learn.

carb it ,...worry about the inspection sticker if you get pulled over

these are the specs on the cam, so its kinda in between the E and the F cam. the only reason for going with the demon carb is just to try something different i guess haha

                          Duration @ .050" (degrees) - 221 intake/225 exhaust
                          Cam Lift (intake/exhaust) - .312"/.319"
                          Lift w/ 1.6 rocker (intake/exhaust) - .499"/.510"
                          Lobe seperation (degrees) - 112?
