Got a call from Pumpkin. We stay in touch, just about.

I hope I'm not out of bounds here Pumpkin, but it's time for some support from your brothers.

Tragically, Pumpkin's dog got run over and killed on the road. Lost a family member right there.

I did what I could do for Pumpkin on the phone, but he's not one to broadcast a whole lot, so the news is not largely known...

Send Pumpkin some cheers. Its time to rally up, brothers.

Lost 2 pets within 5 months of each other this year due to intestional
problems.The yard and house seem really empty.Pumpkin,I know
what your feeling.You'll get thru it.

It's been a month and eight days since I had to put my little girl of twelve years down. I can't wait to get through this pain myself.

the dog that grew with me into adulthood died some years ago. haven't had a pet since.

gravestone, and five bricks on top...stayed there for quite some time in the back yard, behind a permanent shed.

I grabbed two, the car needed them.

Sorry for your loss Pumpkin, losing a dog is rough...and a tragic death like that makes it worse...

Matt I am so sorry to hear about the ball monster. That sucks in every way it could suck. Do you think in dog heaven they have a tennis ball machine.


I am currently teaching Rose dog to walk again after back surgery on Monday. She says to say sorry too.

I posted this when I first heard about Matt's loss. When I had to put my boy Blitz down, the vet sent me a card with this in it and his paw print. Still makes me tear up.

By the edge of a woods, at the foot of a hill,
Is a lush, green meadow where time stands still.
Where the friends of man and woman do run,
When their time on earth is over and done.

For here, between this world and the next,
Is a place where each beloved creature finds rest.
On this golden land, they wait and they play,
Till the Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day.

No more do they suffer, in pain or in sadness,
For here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness.
Their limbs are restored, their health renewed,
Their bodies have healed, with strength imbued.

They romp through the grass, without even a care,

Together again, both person and pet.
So they run to each other, these friends from long past,

And then, side-by-side, they cross over? together.
