Re: IHRA Nationals at New England Dragway
That was you? Crap, I had no idea.
Ryan was there, too (the guy that came with me to Loring).
If I had known, I definitely would have gone over and said hi. Next time, drive Goliath up there and I'll see it in the parking lot and know you're there.

Re: IHRA Nationals at New England Dragway
When we were at 131 those jet trucks filled our pit with smoke....I mean filled it, you literally couldn't see your hand in front of your face. By then it was too late to try and get out of the way because you couldn't see to walk, let alone run.
Fun times.Originally posted by TCalso boost will make the cam act smaller

Re: IHRA Nationals at New England Dragway
I'm guessing you were along the wood line straight behind the starting line then. That's was "Evan Knoll-ville" during the IHRA national events a few years ago. He'd bring all of his teams in for that race because it was his "home track". First time I ever saw a tanker full of race fuel was there at Drag Week in 2005 when the Torco truck pulled in to fill the track race gas station up.
We all know how that ended.
BrianThat which you manifest is before you.

Re: IHRA Nationals at New England Dragway
Brian Pfeifer, who used to work for Evan still put's on that race, Thunder Nationals. But yeah we were there for both his and the Ihra race.
We won the Thunder Nationals 2 years in a row, and runner-uped in the Ihra race..
The mosquitos along the woods are crazy, the jet trucks only kept them away for a minute, and they were right back.
It sure cut down on the beer drinking after dark.Originally posted by TCalso boost will make the cam act smaller
