Don't remind me. I hate winters and have for years. I don't like being cooped up inside and I hate any temp below 75. The older I get the more the winters suck. >

I secretly look forward to winter, the after Christmas to about Feburary time when nothing is going on. It's a good time to catch up on little projects and snowmobiles take the edge off in the winter,

We got our first shipments of winter tires and wheels here at the dealership a few weeks ago, always a depressing day when they arrive. :'(

Still have a few more track days this year before the snow flies, so that's good. Got to play with a nice 65 Mustang GT-350 clone for a few laps on Friday, it was sporting some serious power, what a riot.

                cheers

What brand of winter tires are the most selling at your Dealership for trucks and suvs?.Over here we have Cooper Discoverer and Nokian Hakkapeliitta as the most selling brands.

Arild, we use a few different brands, we are able to order most of the biggies through the Ford of Canada account, and get others direct from the local wholesalers. Anyway, we generally use BFG Winter Slalom when the customer is on a budget, or the Michelin X-Ice and Bridgestone Blizzak variants if they have a bit more to spend. Over here General is selling a relabelled version of the Gislaved Nordfrost as their Altimax Arctic, those things are amazing. In the smaller car sizes they are a great deal, I have a bunch ordered this season for our Fusion and Focus customers.

In our locale we are a bit south of the "snow belt" so we don't have sell super aggressive stuff, in most cases our customers are looking for tires that will be good in light snow and slush.

Yesterday I spent all day outside at the Fall Frenzy, it was a big concert, with the Dirty Heads, Devo, Primus and Sublime. Needless to say it was 106 degrees out and today it's suppose to be 109. :o
