Damn, just picked up the latest HRM (haven't cracked it open, since with my limitted time, I'd rather read this site) and I didn't even notice a new Deluxe. I liked the one with Scratch's ride a lot. Don't know if that was the last one or not, but I'd like to grab the latest.

Picked it up on the way home. Touched several others with hot rods and pretty girls. I ended up with Kar Kulture Deluxe. I've enjoyed it in the past.

There is a brief article about the late '50's custom that Dick Steinkamp found a while back. It is a '53 Stude coupe that has been made into a pickup. It looks quite like an Austrailan Ute. The car/truck was actually in the 1959 Oakland Roadster show. That picture was in Hot Rod a while back and it shows this custom on the floor of the show. Dick posts here once in a while.
