When I was in , this new stuff called kevlar was claimed to be bullet proof.. I wondered what kind of hit it could actually take. This vid answers that question.

Depends on what's used. Kevlar is unreal, no doubt about it, but it is by no means infalliable. I've seen HMMWV doors that weigh 450 lbs blown to bits...composite-over-Kevlar.

That kid that took one in the helmet is fkn lucky.
