Pretty sure that the original Batmobile was a Lincoln, so maybe it should be a supercharged FE 514?
nah, it needs a MEL motor, can you stroke a 462?
Sure, go old school. Weld up the throws and offset grind them.
from what I found, the 462 is dimensionally very close to a 385 family 460. With a 2.6 inch rod bearing and 6.6" rod, you could likely offset grind to 2.2 BBC pin diameter, use a 6.7 or 6.8 BBC rod. Probably could use 460 stroker pistons... very close on bore and spacing. A 501 or 514 doesn't seem out of the question, bore spacing was similar too.. the MEL forums stuff implied a 4.5 bore was possible (+.120 ? WTF!)
(thinking out loud)
Negative. They, like a Chevrolet 409, are an angle deck block and use bizarro pistons. There is no combustion chamber in the head.
