I need to send ALOT of files, 950MB + worth of stuff and was using sendspace to do so, now im getting a error with it now, tried deleting the program, reinstalling, yadda yadda, just not working, anybody have any suggestions on sending that much info across the www

may be best to just rent some web space and ftp the files up, but be careful if you do this, some hosting companies prohibit this (why I do not know). also if the documents are private this may not be the best solution. actually if that is the case an in person transfer might be best, or take a chance on the mail.

Dropbox is awesome for stuff like that. You have both private and shared folders. It's just a matter of creating a shared folder and emailing the link to someone. They'll have to make an account too, but once it's set up all you have to do is drag and drop whatever you want to share.Who needs sugar and spice and everything nice? Remember your upload speed is going to be slower than your download speed. so almost 1 gig of data is going to be lenghty regardless of where you send it.
Try a couple of these sites to see the difference between your uplaod and download.

Also if you use Windows you should be able to use the Remote Desktop Connection, which allows you to access/modify files on another computer.
