make sure there are no knots in your cable modem wire thingy, that can really slow down a file transfer.

if this is going to you (ie here) why not just make a folder for him and allow him ftp access to that folder??

im not happy with the results of dropbox, the whole waiting on files to sync blows monkey balls, theres gotta be something better.

Send Space has been working great for us thus far, but yeah, we may go back to the FTP.

true that, but you need at least one 90 degree elbow with a smooth short-side radius to get optimal speed.
