fronts, anyone know off hand what the offset(backspacing was)
I know g bodys needed fronts al the way around.
looking at 16" rallies for my monty,
the gta wheel filled the wells good,
and the rallies are the only 16" wheel(other than the gta) that I like on these cars,
I really like the 15" ones on it. but are it's limiting factor. in turns as I cant go all that wider on those rims..
the ones on it now are the stocker size 215/65/15

        Took this info from http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/ne...d-1-1-2-1.aspx

It looks like the fronts are zero offset

Wheels, **NEW** Firebird 82-92 16x8 GTA Factory Reproduction Wheels, Black- Full Set, 2 Fronts (zero offset) & 2 Rears (16mm offset). SHIPPING IS NOT INCLUDED!

These wheels were originally installed on 1986-92 Trans Am/GTA models. Black center section with zero offset for fronts & 16mm offset rears (16mm will fit rear only). Each wheel features a machine finished rim. While the original 86-87 Trans Am/ GTA wheels were a two piece design, these are a one piece cast design just like the factory 88-92 model wheels. Center caps, medallions and lug nuts must be purchased separately.

Way back when..I bought a monte ss new in 87 and put 87 iroc wheels on it.I used a small spacer on the rear and slight hammer clearancing. To be clear I used front and rear wheels, not all fronts.I ran them for the 6 years I owned the car with no issues.I too like the look of the gta wheels .Post some pics when it happens.

Thanks, I never knew the offsets, I know they rub the frame in the back if switched.
