  • Mustang V6's finish 1 and 2 in SCCA Showroom Stock B

V6 mustangs finished 1-2 in the SCCA Showroom Stock B class at the Run-Offs this year at Road America against cars like the Honda Civic Si, BMW Z4, Mazda MX-5, etc.
I had never thought of a V6 Mustang as a race car, Hmmmmmmm?
Maybe an afordable way to have some road racing fun?

    Holy cow!
Are we talking like the Cologne V6 here?

That's pretty cool that they were able to thump stuff like the BMW and Civic Si!
That which you manifest is before you.

Imagine what the '11 models will do in capable hands.

        300hp!
There's always something new to learn.

By lap four, fourth-starting Zabinski, in the No. 97 Dead Horse Racing Ford Mustang V-6, had joined the battle and was challenging Grahovec for second.
          dead horse racing.

          can't beat a dead horse.

this is obviously a case of engine bigger than the weight. lets all applaud the lopsided v6 among the tin can hiondas and 4 ton camaro.. also with a v6. :

I always thought the Mustang had an advantage over the Camaro weight wise that would translate into a decent showroom stock racer... However, I think a lot has to do with the drivers...
