Re: Return of t-tops !!
I had two cars with t-tops. I liked it. Clean woods heading to and from where I lived. Simply a ride you could ponder in a tv commercial and some pretentious convertible driver enjoying a perfect autumn day.. there is some clean reality to that, if to try it. ;)
Being a motorhead, seeing t-tops means gentle ride.. (the engine can be too big easily- hence they aren't known for world record dragsters, like oem convertibles) I still chuckle if to see t-tops and hot rod engine. hhaha.
one was a 1984 grand prix LE, a bit bright, all white disco interior...I never did get poked fun at, although expecting it. I even made fun of it as the owner.
the monte carlo was my other, with the ss stuff, was an oxymoron to look at, but not many catch on to reality anyway...
camros have a wide range of engines. not a bad place to see t-tops.

But then the whole design of the car is a hodgepodge of various styling cues thrown on for who knows what reason
