  • Let's see good four-doors

Anyone have photos of decent four-door hot rods? Not wagons, but regular ol' four-door sedans.

        Re: Let's see good four-doors

My first and only four door. The previous owner never used the back seat and the back doors wouldn't open when I bought it. Since I was one of the first in my school with a car; I suddenly had a bunch of 'friends' looking for rides. Those guys fixed the back doors.

Pics are circa 1985-1986, my senior year. Car had a sbc 400 which I hopped up.

          My own project:

Visually I haven't done too much to it besides a restoration I did in high school, a little lowering in the front, and the 16" billet wheels are about all.

Just went out and took some quick pic's. Haven't done anything to this car.......Yet. It's the most likely canidate of mine for an Air Ride Suspension. I'd also like to turbo this one, partly for the sound

Q-vin 428 FE, the 429 started in 1968 for the T-bird. This car is fully loaded with power everything, cruise control, etc.

One large bird in the centre of the grille = 1967.

I looked for about 5 years before I found one I liked for the right price. Bought it from a pawn shop and the original owner (or his kids?) pawned it.

You guys will have to wait for Crew Cab Air Ride pics. We can't sneak everything to you or we wouldn't have a reason to release shows. Don't worry, it's cool and it will be worth it. Also, since we are on the topic of T-Birds, I will tell you that I just found out about a '55 or 6 that is going to be on the boards for sale soon. It's a one owner car that is nice other than typical little old lady stuff. They are getting ready to put her in a home and asked if we would list it for them. More info will be coming this week.

                            Re: Let's see good four-doors

This car is owned by a friend of mine. I bought it a couple years ago with the intent of driving it while my Malibu was getting paint. It was a one-owner with 98k miles and the best floors I have seen in a local car. Had a 283/Glide. I owned the car about a week and my buddy just had to have it, so I sold it to him. Since he bought it, it got new paint, interior, disc brakes, a few engine parts (550 Holley, Performer intake and cam), and a TH350. I'll be doing a front suspension on it this spring sometime. Not really a "hot rod", and not a sedan, but what's not to like about a 4-door coupe?
