I don't think I'm asking for too much, Ron. I've been good.

I must have stared at thing for 1/2 hour last night.....

If Santa brought that to me, I would stare at that car everday till i could get it out in the spring.

          I donlt want much...

the pinto set into a track monster is a good one.

I supoose what I want is related...

every stronger machine mislabeled as an error or weak to the nader types, and locales in blind stampeded cults typing away... may they all get the justice deserved...

I guess my christmas is all year round. ???

A 1970 Chevelle SS with a 454 or 572...I'm not picky ;D , in Chevy Bermuda Blue w/white stripes, a cage, and an exhaust that makes the ground rumble. I'd be a happy, happy girl... *sigh*

Haley, you're going to make some lucky man VERY happy some day!

Me, I pretty much have what I want. A special Sweetie, great kids and Grandkids, 2 great pups, and a mezzanine on the way (thanks, David!(Rack4U)). What more could a guy want?

If I remember correctly Glidden bought that car from Gappp & Roush but it was his power plant that brought it to life! I can also remember before he went Pro always loaning him tools at IRP on race Sundays and then it wasn't unusual to meet him in the Final with his 65 Galaxie, sometimes that cost me!

I'd love that pinto - a friend / mentor of mine had a 351c-4v pinto that he bracket raced for years - it had a stance about like that one - but the engine and trans were mostly left over stuff he had laying around - it ran 12.00 with a throttle stop to stay in sportsman class as I recall. Lots of fond memories of going to Martin with him (long before it was all redone to NHRA specs recently).

I'd like my shop floor to look like that for Christmas! ;D

Damn it! No Pintos for sale in my area. But I wouldn't be opposed to having Santa put this in my driveway...

                        Don't worry Santa. I'll find a motor/tranny for it! :D

I wouldn't mind having that either, I've got a soft spot for Fairmonts and Zephyrs. I drove/beat on alot of them when I worked for Budget rent a car in the early '80s. ;D

Now this is funny, I told my wife a while back I wanted something for Christmas and she got it, but for the life of me I can't remember what I told her I wanted. So I guess when Christmas comes I'm going to be like cool I did want that or I'm going be thinking what the hell did I tell her to get that for........ :D :D

                              Let's see...for Christmas...hmm...

*Christmas sweets...I love the holidays, some of the best desserts are made...vanilla...chocolate-frosted...butter rum...mint..

*Money? Money is always good...and it saves you the hassle of fighing little old women in the mall for gifts..

*Please, Santa...let this one get re-listed on eBay...

Nah, for Christmas this year, it's going to be low-key...I'll only be in the new place for a few days, so nothing will be set up, but I'm still looking forward to the day with the enthusiasm I had when I was a little kid. I don't see a lot of gifts, per se, but I'm more than fine with that...I've been blessed plenty this year.

                              ...oh, yeah, one more thing...
