I have a thing about old Miller-Offy motors. My uncle had one for a brief period.

OK. Yes it was called the Sampson engine. A 16 cylinder engine built using Miller 91 blocks mounted side by side on individual crankcases geared to a common output shaft. The two engines used a common induction system. The total displacement of the 16 cylinders was 202” (2.312 X 3)
Millers started out as 4 cylinder engines later they built a longer crankcase to allow the use of two 4 cylinder blocks to build a straight 8 of 91” These early engines were 2 valve overhead cam racing only powerplants.
            That was kinda fun.

My understanding is the car ran in the early '30's. '32,'33

the motor is simply cool looking... anyone else got something like it?

I tried to dig up a good Duesy motor... but couldn't really find a decent picture at the Museum.

I'll see if I can find my old pics and send 'em to Keith. As I mentioned elsewhere, the ACD Museum in Auburn IN is amazing. There's a Deusenberg bare chassis that lets you see the twin cam up close and personal, but if memory serves, it's not a SJ (blown) motor.
