I've never met a stout or porter I didn't like.
The heavier and more robust the flavoring, the better!
I've been on an oatmeal stout kick lately, I want to find the stuff you are sampling (as mentioned in the other thread)

The Arcadia brewing company is located in Battle Creek Michigan. I got a couple of bottles from a guy my wife works with.We have a common love of the dark brews and trade off a few to each other when we find something. He suffered a mild heart attack a few months ago,and while off work turned it into a small vacation visiting 14 different small breweries within 3 hours drive of here sampling and buying product. LOL He is dedicated to the hunt! If you are unsuccessful finding some let me know and I will try and find some local to ship to ya.Comment

X2. Love the stuff. Stone Brewing opened shop nearly the same time I did, in an industial unit across from my shipping provider. They wanted me to take 50 used stainless kegs and weld a plate over the old name, with theirs on it, for nearly no money. I wouldn't do it.Originally posted by fast Ed

Lion stout, just love the stuff. Also St. Peters cream stout (tasty) Been on a kick of doing the black and tan type thing but with a twist, use a stout and a IPA to give it more zip.Originally posted by Brian LohnesComment
